Kamalaker  is a Law Graduate and also a post graduate diploma holder in Company Law, Banking Law and Insurance Law from the University of Madras.  He is a member of Bar Council of Bihar.

He has over three decades of experience with Industrial Finance Corporation of India having held various positions in the Legal Department and retired as General Manager (Law) in the year 2000. His specialization includes:
