Sudhir Rao has a Master of Computer Science Degree from USA. He has worked in US for two years before returning to India. He has over two decades of Management Experience.

He is one of the co-promoters of leading Alcohol Manufacturing Company, Pioneer Distilleries Limited which has a Power Generation Facility. After exiting Pioneer Distilleries Limited, looking at the opportunities in the Power Sector, Sudhir Rao co-promoted Pioneer Gas Power Limited(PGPL) which has setting up a 388 MW Gas Based Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP). He is actively involved in the day-to-day company affairs, modernization and also exploring the possibility of new ventures.
