The site is 120 K.M. away from Mumbai airport and is near to Mumbai-Goa National highway (NH-17). The Plant is optimized to use eco-friendly Natural Gas to maintain a pollution free environment. The technology & equipments coupled in the Power Plant will be of highest quality.

PGPL project enjoys considerable benefits such as:

  • Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has leased the land to PGPL to set up the Power Plant.
  • The Dhabhol-Dahej Pipe line of GAIL which will supply Gas is only 8 Kms from the site and Spur Line connecting our Plant in the shortest possible time.
  • The location provides proximity to consumers of power with complete Power Evacuation within 4 Kms.
  • The Project site is located in the state of Maharashtra, power deficit state in the country and also the fastest growing state with large industrial consumers around.
  • MIDC Ville Bhagad area is well networked by roads.
  • The Geographical location and weather conditions are best suited for the enhanced performance of equipments.
  • The Project is strategically located close to the GAIL Dahej-Dabhol Pipeline which allows easy access to gas required for the project.
  • The project was being allocated the Natural Gas under e-BID RLNG scheme of Ministry of Power, Government
  • PGPL commissioned the plant and achieved CoD on 14.07.2016 after successful trials.
  • PGPL supplied power under e-BID RLNG scheme to Telangana Discoms
